Apparatus Deliveries

The South McCreary Fire Protection District (Pine Knot, Kentucky) covers a mostly rural area with few hydrants. Truck Committee Chairman Stephen King says the department designed this 4 GUYS pumper with a large water tank and Class A foam to provide a strong initial attack while awaiting tanker support. This vehicle is used as a first-out unit for structure fires and motor vehicle accidents. It has a top-mount pump panel for operator visibility and has more storage space than the older vehicle.

The Big Walnut Joint Fire District, Marengo, Ohio, placed in service this brush quick attack unit built by 1st ATTACK ENGINEERING. Captain Dave White says the unit responds first-out for grass fires and second out for motor vehicle accidents (MVAs). It also tows their hazmat trailer.
